Come support us in our Inter Uni Cultural Showcase பொங்கட்டும் ஆனந்தம் (Culturals) proudly organised by NTU Tamil Literary Society and Alumni Association!
We will be starting our day with a LCIP initiative at the Indian Heritage Centre where our student volunteers from NTU will be spending time with 25 under-privileged kids teaching them about the significance of our Tamil festival Pongal.
The Culturals will take place in the evening, and it will be filled with enthusiastic band, dance and other performances by the NTU, NUS and SMU Tamil students. This will be a great opportunity for the Tamil University students community to come together and celebrate Pongal.
The Culturals aims to recognise and embrace the Tamil culture of celebrating the Pongal festival together as one community. It also identifies talents within our community and showcase their skills and foster and strengthens the bond between Tamil students in the Tri-Uni community.
Our event will take place from 5pm to 7.30pm inclusive of dinner on 12th Jan 2019. Venue will be at Lee Kong Chian Lecture Theatre at NTU.
Tickets will be sold at $5 each and we do encourage friends and families to attend the Culturals to celebrate Pongal together. So hurry up and get your tickets before they get sold out!
இந்த வருடம் NTU தமிழ் இலக்கிய மன்றம் எங்களுடைய பட்டதாரி மாணவர்கள் மன்றத்துடன் இணைந்து வழங்கவிருப்பதுதான் இந்த பொங்கட்டும் ஆனந்தம் கொண்டாட்டம்.
காலையில் சமூகத்திற்கு எங்களால் முடிந்த சேவையை வழங்கும் ஒரு முயற்சியை மேற்கொள்ளவிருக்கிறோம். 25 வசதி குறைந்த மாணவர்களை இந்திய மரபுடைமை மையத்திற்கு அழைத்து சென்று அவர்களுக்கு பொங்கலின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை சொல்லிக்கொடுக்கவிருக்கிறோம்.
இதனை தொடர்ந்து, மாலையில், NTU, NUS, SMU ஆகிய முப்பல்கலைக்கழகங்களிலிருந்தும் ஆடல், பாடல், நாடகம் என பலதரப்பட்ட திறன்கள் உடையவர்கள் அவற்றை வெளிப்படுத்துவதற்கு ஒரு கலைநிகழ்ச்சியை நடத்தவிருக்கிறோம். தமிழர் திருநாளை நாம் அனைவரும் இணைந்து ஒன்றாக கொண்டாட இது ஒரு சிறந்த வாய்ப்பாகும்.
இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி மாலை 5 மணிக்கு துவங்கி 7.30 மணி அளவில் முடியும். நிகழ்ச்சி NTU வில் இருக்கும் லீ காங் சியேன் அரங்கில் நடக்கவிருக்கிறது.
கலை நிகழ்ச்சியில் நீங்கள் கலந்துகொள்ள நுழைவுச்சீட்டுகள் ஒவ்வொன்றும் 5 வெள்ளிக்கு விற்கப்படும். நுழைவு சீட்டுகள் முழுதும் விற்பனை ஆகும்முன்னே விரைவாக அவற்றை பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
