Vaanga Pazhagalaam 2017 was an exciting day camp organised for our freshmen as well as our senior and alumni NTU students. Every year, our freshmen are clueless about how to navigate around school and about how their school curriculum works. This event gave our new students a great opportunity to learn about our school environment better and forge bonds with our senior members.

 

The day camp consisted of various activities such as a mass game and an amazing race. The members were travelling around the school to find various clues and locations. Then they were given many challenging tasks to complete. All the students who came down showed great team spirit and were dedicated towards making their team win.

 

“I did not go for this Vaanga Pazhagalaam with much expectations. However, this was a really fun-filled day where I got to make many new friends!” - MN Shaanmugam.

புதிய மாணவர்கள், மூத்த மாணவர்கள், முன்னாள் மானவர்கள் என்று அனைவரும் ஒன்று சேர்ந்து ஒரே இந்திய சமூகமாக ஒன்றிணைந்து பழகி ஒருவரை ஒருவர் புரிந்துகொள்ள இந்த ஒரு நாள் முகாம் ஒரு சிறந்த தலமாக அமைந்தது. ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் பல்கலைக்கழக வாழ்க்கை எப்படி இருக்க போகிறது என்று முற்றிலும் தெரியாமல் வரும் இந்த புதிய மாணவர்களுக்கு ஒரு சிறந்த துவக்கமாக இருந்தது இந்நிகழ்வு.

 

இப்பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு இடமும் எங்கெங்கு இருக்கிறது என்பதை புரிந்துகொள்வதற்கு உதவியாக ஒவ்வொரு ஒட்டுமொத்த NTU வை சுற்றி ஒவ்வொரு குழு விளையாட்டும் அமைந்துள்ளது. ஒருவரை ஒருவர் புரிந்துகொண்டு, நல்ல நட்புறவை வளர்த்துக்கொள்ள உதவியாக இந்த நிகழ்வு ஒரு பாலமாக அமைந்தது. அனைத்து போட்டிகளிலும்அதீத உற்சாகத்தோடு பங்கேற்ற எங்கள் மாணவர்கள், இந்த முதல் வருடத்தை தன்னம்பிக்கையோடு எதிர்கொள்ள இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி வழிவகுத்தது என்று பகிர்ந்துகொண்டார்.
