Vaanga Pazhalagalaam 2019
The first NTU TLS event for the semester, ‘Vaanga Pazhagalaam’ started with a bang on 24th August 2019. The primary motive of hosting this event is to welcome every member of the Tamil community and make them bond. Have you ever seen Nayanthara, Vijay, Vadivel, Dhanush, Rajini, Sivakarthikeyan all in a battle field? That was what happened in Vaanga Pazhagalaam. The event was hosted by Ponmozhi and Haq, in which they started off by sharing their experiences and memories.
The participants then split into their teams and were led by their enthusiastic Group Leaders (GLs) of various Kollywood characters. Everyone then got introduced to each other through ice-breaker games, in which they got to know more about each other. After a sumptuous lunch, the participants took part in different station games in which the various groups competed against each other. Apart from that, since the station games were conducted in various parts of NTU, the participants got to familiarise themselves with the different places in NTU. As this event was based on Kollywood, all the teams had to re-enact movie scenes from Kollywood that were given to them and the chosen teams were given bonus points.
Attractive prizes were given to the winning teams to encourage the exemplary enthusiasm they showed throughout the event. At the end of Vaanga Pazhagalaam, everyone forged many friendships and took back sweet memories to cherish for life.

அவ்வாறே, NTU தமிழ் இலக்கிய மன்றம் ஆகஸ்ட் 24-ஆம் தேதி அன்று தனது ‘வாங்க பழகலாம்’ எனும் அறிமுக முகாமை நடத்தியது. இந்த முகாம் புதிய இந்திய மாணவர்களை, தமிழ் இலக்கிய மன்ற குடும்பத்திற்குள் வரவேற்கவும் தமிழ் இலக்கிய மன்றத்தின் பணிகளைப் பற்றி பகிர்ந்துக்கொள்வதற்கான ஒரு சந்தர்ப்பமாகவும் அமைந்தது.
பொன்மொழி மற்றும் ஹக் ஆகியோர் தங்களது பேச்சுத் திறன்களால் இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை சரவெடியாக துவங்கி வைத்து NTU தமிழ் இலக்கிய மன்றத்தைப் பற்றி மாணவர்களுக்கு அறிமுகம் செய்து வைத்தனர். நிகழ்ச்சியில் பெங்கேற்ற மாணவர்களுக்கு உற்சாகமூட்டும் வகையில் நம் குழு தலைவர்கள் நயன்தாரா, விஜய், வடிவேல், தனுஷ், ரஜினி, சிவகார்த்திகேயன் ஆகியோர், அவரவர் குழுக்களுடன் அறிமுக விளையாட்டுகளை விளையாடினர். இதன் மூலம் அவர்கள் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் நன்கு புரிந்துகொண்டனர்.
மதிய உணவிற்கு பிறகு, மாணவர்கள் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் இருக்கும் வெவ்வேறு இடத்திற்குச் சென்று, குதுகலமான விளையாட்டுகளை விளையாடினர். இவ்விளையாட்டுகளின் மூலம், பல்வேறு குழுக்கள் ஒருவருக்கொருவருடன் போட்டியிட்டதோடு, பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் உள்ள வெவ்வேறு இடங்களைப் பற்றி மேலும் அறிந்துகொள்ள இது ஒரு அரிய வாய்ப்பாக அமைந்தது.
மேலும், இந்நிகழ்ச்சி கோலிவுட் கொண்டாட்டமாக இருந்ததால், எந்தெந்த குழுக்கள் தங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட திரைப்படக் காட்சிகளை அச்சு அசல் போல நடித்து காட்டினார்களோ அந்தந்த குழுக்களுக்கு போனஸ் புள்ளிகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன.
நிகழ்ச்சியின் இறுதியில், விளையாட்டுகளில் வெற்றி பெற்ற குழுக்களுக்குக் கவர்ச்சிக்கரமான பரிசுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன. இந்த மறக்கமுடியாத நிகழ்ச்சி அனைவருக்கும் நெஞ்சில் பசுமரத்தாணி போல் பதிந்துவிட்டதோடு, இந்நிகழ்ச்சியின் மூலம் மலர்ந்த பொக்கிஷமான நினைவுகளைத் தங்களுடனே வைத்துக்கொள்ள NTU தமிழ் இலக்கிய மன்றம் ஒரு குடும்பமாக புகைப்படம் எடுத்தது. நட்பே துணை!
